When we say, Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone, we really mean it. And for 2017 we’re putting together a number of special events to draw even greater numbers of musicians and appreciators into the fun. You’ll be able to join in on mass appeal shows designed to bring together dozens — no, hundreds — of artists to perform pre-selected pieces together. Bring your percussion instruments and join marimba maven Eric De Los Santos in a jam.
Boomwhacker Jamboree at Olbrich Park
Olbrich Park Percussion Zone, 3527 Atwood Ave., 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM
The Percussion Zone at Olbrich Park will be hosting a live arrangement of both classical and popular songs on tuned plastic tubes called Boomwhackers. After an initial performance by Eric De Los Santos and his percussion studio, audience members will be asked to participate in a Mass Appeal event with arrangements for all levels of musicians.

Bring your ukulele on stage and join MAUI for an exciting performance, or simply hang out in the audience and join in the interactive crowd experience. The Madison Area Ukulele Initiative is contagiously happy with fun for all ages.

Join Devil’s Fen & The Kelsey Miles Band to pay tribute to the late great Otis Redding on the 50th anniversary of his infamous Madison plane crash. Be ready to sing along to all of your favorites, including Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.
