The Unity Jazz Duo (Steve and Sheri)
Unity of Madison Jazz Band plays a genre of music known as Spirit Jazz. It takes an eclectic set of American musical influences - principally jazz and gospel - and blends them with channeled lyrics to produce a unique yet somehow familiar style. Sheri contributes vocals and lyrics that she writes and channels from "the other side". Her sweet and warm vocal style will immediately pull you in. Steve's training as a jazz pianist allows him to compose music for those lyrics and arrange the songs.
