The Raging Grannies of Madison
The Raging Grannies of Madison began as a project of the Madison chapter of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), first singing to the crowds of Madison WI anti-war protesters in the fall of 2003. The Grannies have fun with their songs of political satire, refuse to be silenced, and sing out against those things that harm the planet they will leave to their grandkids.
