Randal Harrison Hoecherl

Randal will sing and play guitar for this year’s MMM solo performance. He'll play original stuffs to standards from the likes of Bill Withers, Leonard Cohen, Elizabeth Cotton and the Beatles. Expect him to bring his fiddle, too! Randal’s accolades include MAMAs for Best Blues Artist, Jazz, and Classical, Artist of the Year, a southeast EMMY nomination for composition, and former President: Suzuki Association of Wisconsin. His diverse performance credits include work with Clyde Stubblefield (The Funky Drummer), Ben Tucker (Blue Note recording artist), Piper Road Spring Band (WI bluegrass legends), Savannah Symphony Orchestra (under the baton of Christian Badea), and his 30+ year tenure as violinist/choreographer with Madison’s own Honor Among Thieves. In addition to performing and composing, Randal Harrison is a clinician of violin and improvisation at places like the American Suzuki Institute and the biannual Singapore International String Conference.
