What are mass appeal events? Well they are exactly as they sound, appealing to the masses. These events welcome participants to engage in some way in collaborative music making. Mr. Harmonica Man

Mr. Harmonica Man, DeWayne Keyes, returns to lead his popular group lesson and performance. Hohner musical instrument company provides free harmonicas to the first 100 participants.
Making Music with Makey Makeys
12:30-2 PM | Pinney Library, 516 Cottage Grove Rd, Madison, WI 53716
17.2m (aka Scott Fradkin) will use Makey Makeys as a midi controller to play with synths and a drum machine. Come learn about electronic music and experience the power and fun of the Makey Makey. 17.2m will both perform an original piece he writes for Make Music Day and offer drop in interactive sessions.
17.2m (aka Scott Fradkin) has been making strange sounds with his computer for nearly a decade. Finding software that let him create sounds and sequence them using code piqued his interest in creating experimental electronic music. Over the years he has added a number of hardware synthesizers to his setup to go along with software synthesis. He combines these instruments together to make not quite danceable music that is live coded and typically improvisational. His music can be found at:
