While I regularly performed at family gatherings, office conferences and seminars, and retirement and birthday parties, my career in law and public health policy didn’t leave much time to pursue my passion for music. I’m “retired”, and the time has arrived! I dabbled in songwriting during my legal career, but joined the Nashville Songwriters’ Association International when I retired, and have been working hard to improve my songwriting skills. Two of my songs resulted in being named “one to watch” by NSAI. Not exactly a Grammy, but pretty cool nonetheless! I’ve recorded Bordering the Driftless, a CD of my original songs. During my live performances, I include some original songs, but I mostly perform a variety of soft rock, folk, country dating to the late 50s to the 90s. Included are covers of classic performers like the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and CCR. Look for me on Facebook at Facebook.com/DanStierMusic.
