Dimensions in Sound Big Band
Dimensions in Sound is a 17-piece "big band" that plays a variety of jazz, pop and rock ranging from the classic swing era tunes of the 1930's and 40's (Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller), rock and roll from the 1950's and 60's (Elvis, Beatles, Neal Diamond) the swing revival of the 1990's (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), with even a few contemporary tunes and an occasional polka-- all music intended to make audiences tap their feet! Our band has been together for 47 years. We perform at senior living facilities and for non-profit events (e.g., Honor Flight) throughout Dane County.
