Formed in 2012, the band brings together nine versatile musicians from varied musical backgrounds with over 100 years of combined musical experience. Mad City Funk plays popular songs by artists such as: James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Kool & the Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, Prince, Michael Jackson, the Temptations, Hall & Oates, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Al Green, Albert King, and Gladys Knight, along with some of the band's own original, funky compositions.
