Max Dyer
A cellist of unusual versatility, Max Dyer plays cello in every context from opera and chamber music to folk, jazz, and East/West improvisation. In addition to performing with the Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera orchestras for almost 40 years, Max is also a sought-after improvising recording artist who has performed on Grammy winning albums and scores of recording projects for major and independent labels. Max holds a Masters degree from Rice University's Shepherd School of Music and is married to cellist and author Cornelia Watkins. They moved to Madison in 2018.
